Yes, you can pull the apartment data directly.
If you want apartment listing data inside your own website or system instead of only using a Locator IDX hosted page or iframe, use the XML Data Feed.
Is it only an iframe?
No. Locator IDX has hosted tools and iframe options, but the XML Data Feed gives your developer the listing data itself.
Is it an API?
No. It is a raw XML feed from a unique URL. It is not a JSON API with multiple endpoints.
Do I need WordPress?
No. WordPress is common, but any approved website or system can use the feed if your developer can pull and import XML.

Before you give the feed to your developer.
Is the feed XML, CSV, JSON, or API?
The feed is XML and is pulled from a unique URL. Locator IDX does not currently provide the data feed as CSV, JSON, or a multi endpoint API.
Can my developer use it on a custom website?
Yes. Your developer can use the feed on a custom website if the website can pull and import XML.
Can I use it with WordPress?
Yes. WordPress is a common use. Your developer needs an import process that can create or update the website content using the XML data.
Can I use it in a building matcher or AI assistant?
Yes, when the tool is for your own apartment locating business and is part of your approved project.
Why do I have to provide an IP address?
The IP address identifies the server or system authorized to download and refresh your feed. Feed access cannot be activated until that IP address is provided.
Does Locator IDX build the website or import the data for me?
No. Locator IDX provides the XML feed and developer documentation. Your developer handles the import, field mapping, pages, design, and refresh schedule.
What happens if I cancel Locator IDX?
Your XML feed access is disabled and you can no longer download or refresh the feed. Content that was previously and lawfully imported does not have to be removed.
